The Computer Society (Breivang)

Completed 2008 for Tromsø Breivang vg skole

This is a system of computers living on the network of Breivang school in Tromsø, Norway. It tries to reflect the pupils' activity there. A kind of mirror that distorts and rewrites what happens.

It is made up of six (?) separate characters, interacting with each other and feeding off the network traffic of the school. Each character has their own way of dealing with the outside world, but all are dependent on the activity in the school.

The members of the society:

• The Toastmaster
  Large LED display on the bridge in the common area
• The Animal
  Sound in the main entrance porch
  
• The Navigator
  Video screen on the wall on the first floor
• The Twins
  Two screens above the sofas on the ground floor
• The Scholar
  Small LED display in the stairwell
