Some days I whisper softly from The East:
passionate verses from Murmansk and wise koans from Osaka.
Other days I will scream from The South: splitting trees with ballads from St Petersburg,
tipping over your dustbins with rock from Helsinki.
In the morning I may bring you the final score from Scotland and for the afternoon;
far-away tales of swindlers from long ago in the Yukon.

Using an ultrasonic anemometer (an expensive thing that tells you which direction the wind's blowing from) content from around the Artic and beyond is selected and composited on a huge screen. So when the wind's blowing from Alaska, movies, photos, stories and songs from Alaska will drift past...

To say that the assets have been "mediated" is putting it somewhat mildly, i'm seeing this as a "collage" process... [jb jan 08]
